L. M. Peralta graduated from the University of New Orleans with a degree in English. Always an avid reader, her love for fantasy led her to begin writing her debut book, The Elementals, at the age of seventeen. She lives with her family in Violet, Louisiana, and is looking forward to completing the second book in the Elementals trilogy.
